Application of Waterbased               ELITE-GUARD – ELITE-SEAL

  • The temperature of the Tile, Paver or Concrete should be between 12c in sunlight and not drop below and up to 29 Degrees Celsius.
  • Protect any adjacent areas by masking to avoid splashes or overspray onto surfaces not intended to be treated.
  • Surface to be treated should be clean but can be damp.
  • Apply sealer liberally by spray, lambswool applicator, roller or brush.
  • Leave for 5-20 minutes then reapply a second coat whilst still wet.

  • Wipe off excess sealer on top with a clean cloth after 10 mins.
  • Allow to dry, water repellency will be evident immediately the surface appears dry, full curing will take 24 hours.
  • Wash equipment in water as soon as finished.

In all applications wiping off any excess sealer on top of the surface is required.

Application of Waterbased      ELITE-SHIELD – ELITE-SHIELD PLUS

  • The temperature of the Tile, Block, Paver or Concrete should be between 12c in sunlight and not drop below and up to 29 Degrees Celsius.
  • Protect any adjacent areas by masking to avoid splashes or overspray onto surfaces not intended to be treated.
  • Surface to be treated should be clean but can be damp.
  • Apply sealer liberally by spray, lambswool applicator, roller or brush.
  • Flood coat the surface to achieve a “wet” look appearance. It is best to agitate the
    product into slightly denser surfaces.
  • Leave for 5-20 minutes then reapply a second coat whilst still wet.

  • A second coat can be applied before or after first coat is dry.
  • Do not allow the product to pool on the surface. wipe or buff excess sealer off the surface with a clean dry cloth or floor pad.
  • Wipe off any excess sealer on top with a clean cloth after 10 mins.
  • Allow to dry, water repellency will be evident immediately the surface appears dry, full curing will take 24 hours.
  • Wash equipment in water as soon as finished.

Application of 2 PACK URETHANE SEALER

• Mix 4 Parts “A” with 1 Part “B” supplied in the correct ratio
• Only mix enough materials at a time that will be used within the pot life
• Pot life is 4-8 hours at 25C, subject to weather conditions
• Mix for 2-5 minutes using a drill/paint mixer until consistent
• After mixing leave for 10-20 minutes to allow any aeration to dissipate
• Surface should be free from dust, oil and grease prior to application
• Use degreaser and preferably a high pressure cleaner to clean the surface
• Caution on new concrete, best to allow 21 days to cure before sealing
• Apply with low-pressure spray, short lambswool roller or brush to a clean, dust free surface
• 2 thinly applied coats recommended for optimum effect
• Allow 3-4 hours to dry in warmer climates before applying a second coat
• Allow 48-72 hours for full cure
• Do not apply when the surface temperature in sunlight is below 12C or will go below 12C during the curing process
• Do not apply outdoors if rain is imminent
• Pedestrian traffic allowed after 24 hrs
• Allow minimum 72 hrs before vehicular traffic access
• Allow 5-7 days before subjecting to harsh chemicals
CLEANUP
Wash equipment with water immediately after use

Application Anti-Graffiti coating – Repel

• Mix 4 Parts “A” with 1 Part “B” supplied in the correct ratio
• Only mix enough materials at a time that will be used within the pot life
• Pot life is 4-8 hours at 25Deg.C, and subject to weather conditions
• Mix for 2-5 minutes using a drill/paint mixer until consistent
• After mixing leave for 10-20 minutes to allow any aeration to dissipate
• Surface should be free from dust, oil and grease prior to application
• Use degreaser and preferably a high pressure cleaner to clean the surface
• Caution on new concrete, best to allow 28 days to cure before sealing
• Apply with low-pressure spray, short nap roller (4-6mm) or brush
• One solid coat is recommended for optimum performance. Two coats may be required on coarse surfaces
• Apply a second coat if required, once first coat is touch dry
• Allow 72 hours for full cure
• Do not apply when the surface temperature is below 12c or will go below 12c degrees during the curing process
• Do not apply outdoors if rain is imminent
• Pedestrian traffic allowed after 24 hrs
• Allow 5-7 days before subjecting to harsh chemicals
• If attacked with graffiti prior to fully curing, the graffiti should be left alone for the full 72 hours, then proceed with graffiti removal process

Application Gel Stripper

  • Note: – Shake well before use.
  • The surface temperature to be stripped should be between 12c in sunlight -29 Degrees Celsius.
  • Apply the stripper evenly to a 2mm thickness using a squeegee, brush, or roller. The timeframe for removal of the coating depends on the type of sealer or coating on the surface and the number of layers to be removed.
  • For multiple layers apply a slightly thicker application (approx. 3mm thick).
  • Check the effectiveness of the stripper at 10-minute intervals using a scraper. For epoxy coatings, allow the stripper to sit on the surface for at least 12 hours before removing.
  • Paint and Acrylic sealers for a period of 30mins-180mins dependant on the number of coats required to be removed.
  • To remove the stripper and sealer/coating residue, scrape the surface using a short or long-handled scraper.
  • For textured surfaces such as exposed aggregate, an extremely hard brush can be used. Black nylon stripping pads and an automatic floor scrubber can be used on smoother surfaces.
  • Scrub the surface with Elite Degreaser to remove all remaining stripper and high-pressure water blast the area (external areas only) or rinse with clean water.
  • Surfaces may appear cloudy (grey/white appearance) when they eventually dry after stripping. This does not indicate any damage and the surface colours will return after re-sealing.
  • To ensure the sealer/coating has been totally removed from the surface, walk on the treated area looking for signs of tackiness and sealer residue.
  • Reapply Eco Stripper to these areas where the sealer/coating has not been totally removed
